I cannot remember ever being without a pencil or brush. Art has been the common thread throughout my life. Needless to say it was my favourite subject at High School in Kirkcaldy. During my 25 years service with the Royal Air Force and 20 years with an aerospace chemical company, I travelled the world and gathered a rich store of images. Having taken early retirement I can now put that experience to work. I paint now mainly in oils. My main themes are aviation subjects and the landscape of Lincolnshire, particularly as seen from the Viking Way along the Lincolnshire Cliff. I am a founder member of the Artists of Navenby group.
